Caught by a Story

I'm not sure what woke me exactly - this story drifting heavy about my being or the hail rattling at the windows demanding to be told a tale.
  All I do know is that it is a story that asks to be heard, over and over and over again.

It is not a satisfactory story.

It is not a warm and fuzzy story.

But it is, I hope, a story that will bend your ear.
